Job OverviewThis role focuses on designing, building, and optimizing large-scale data pipelines and distributed data systems. You will work on the core data platform used by enterprise clients, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance across cloud environments.
Responsibilities- Build and maintain data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and streaming processes.
- Develop large-scale distributed data processing systems.
- Implement best practices for data modelling, data quality, and platform reliability.
- Collaborate with architects, cloud engineers, and cross-functional teams to deliver data solutions.
- Optimize system performance and support production operations.
RequirementsMust-Have:- 8+ years of software development experience.
- Strong Data Engineering expertise with distributed systems.
- 2+ years of recent Python programming experience.
- Solid experience with Spark, Kafka, Airflow, or similar ecosystems.
- Hands-on experience with public cloud (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Good English communication skills.
Nice-to-Have:- Experience with Data Lake or Lakehouse architectures.
- Familiarity with Scala or Java.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and Kubernetes.
- Background in financial services or enterprise data platforms.
