Senior Data Analyst

We are seeking motivated Senior Data Analyst to join our team.

As a Senior Data Analyst, you will partner closely with business stakeholders to turn data into actionable insights, drive performance improvement, and support data-driven decision making across the organisation. You will play a key role in designing scalable reporting solutions, defining performance metrics, and ensuring consistent, trusted data outcomes.

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Partner with business and domain stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, identify opportunities, and drive performance improvements through data and analytics.
• Lead analytical initiatives to generate actionable insights and recommendations that influence business decisions and outcomes.
• Design, develop and maintain scalable reporting solutions, dashboards and visualisations using Power BI and other reporting tools.
• Build and manage semantic data models, ensuring reporting solutions are scalable, reusable and aligned with enterprise standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define, standardise and govern KPI frameworks, business metrics and reporting definitions.
• Translate complex data into clear business narratives and executive-ready insights for senior leaders.
• Ensure data quality, accuracy and consistency through appropriate validation, testing and control processes.
• Proactively identify risks, dependencies, trends and opportunities to improve operational performance and business outcomes.
• Contribute to Agile delivery practices, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, estimation and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Maintain high-quality documentation for reporting solutions, data definitions, business rules and governance standards.
• Fulfil other tasks as assigned by your People Leader and/or authorised representative of NAB Vietnam from time to time.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

Experience:

• Proven experience working as a Senior Data Analyst, Senior BI Analyst, Senior Reporting Analyst or similar role.
• Strong experience developing reporting and dashboard solutions using Power BI, including data modelling, DAX and semantic models.
• Advanced SQL skills with experience transforming, analysing and interpreting large and complex datasets.
• Experience partnering directly with senior business stakeholders and translating business requirements into analytical solutions.
• Demonstrated experience delivering executive and management reporting.
• Experience defining KPIs, performance measures and reporting frameworks.
• Experience validating reporting outputs and implementing data quality controls.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong English communication

  - Understanding of data governance principles, KPI standardisation and reporting controls.
  - Commitment to ensuring accuracy, consistency and integrity of reporting outcomes.
