We are looking for a Senior Data Analyst to lead this transformation.
Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to help drive strategic decision-making. You will work closely with various departments to understand their needs and provide data-driven insights to improve business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Strategy & Leadership
- Define and execute MOOVTEK's overall data and analytics strategy Establish KPI frameworks, metric governance, and data quality standards
- Build and mentor a high-performing Data team Define hiring roadmap, team structure, and performance expectations
- Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and data-driven decision-making
- Marketplace & Business Optimization
- Analyze supply-demand dynamics across services (Bike, Car, CarPool)
- Optimize unit economics, pricing models, and service-level profitability
- Lead pricing experiments and performance monitoring
- Identify growth, retention, and operational efficiency opportunities
- Provide strategic recommendations balancing growth and margin
- Fraud, Risk & Governance
- Design and implement fraud detection and risk monitoring frameworks
- Detect and mitigate risks
- Define risk scoring systems and action policies
- Quantify fraud loss and measure impact of prevention initiatives
- Analytics & Decision Support
- Deliver actionable insights to Product, Operations, Marketing, and Finance
- Develop executive dashboards and reporting cadence
- Lead experimentation (A/B testing) and impact evaluation
- Support strategic planning and scenario analysis
- Data Infrastructure & Architecture
- Define data architecture roadmap (warehouse, pipelines, real-time vs batch processing)
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure scalable and reliable data systems Improve event tracking, instrumentation, and data collection standards
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- At least 3 years of experience in data analysis, preferably in a business or analytics environment.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis and modeling techniques.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and tools.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment.
