We are looking for a
Senior Data Analyst to play a key role in transforming Ansarada into a truly data-driven company, helping ensure our customers get the most out of our platform.
Working closely with our Product, Sales, and Design teams, you will help ensure high-quality customer data is available to power engaging, personalised customer journeys. You will be an agent of positive change, unlocking the rich datasets across our business to improve both the product experience and the day-to-day work of our customers.
This is a hands-on role for someone who combines strong analytical capability with commercial thinking, technical depth, and a passion for helping others use data effectively.
What You'll Do
- Partner with Product and business stakeholders to define business data assets, metrics, and data requirements.
- Develop, maintain, and improve high-quality data assets from complex and varied source systems.
- Write complex SQL queries and build reports, datasets, and analysis to support strategic and operational decision-making.
- Aggregate, analyse, and interpret business data to identify trends, uncover insights, perform root cause analysis, and recommend opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and overall quality across analytical outputs and business data assets.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the Data team, including Data Engineers and Data Scientists, to deliver scalable and reliable data solutions.
- Contribute to data engineering tasks where needed, including supporting or enhancing ETL and data pipeline processes.
- Ensure data usage aligns with governance, quality, and broader strategic business requirements.
- Educate business users on correct data usage, definitions, and best practices to improve data literacy across the organisation.
- Provide regular feedback, coaching, and support to colleagues, helping raise the capability of the wider team.
- Act as a senior analytical partner to stakeholders, handling complex issues with minimal supervision and escalating only the most challenging matters where required
What You'll Need
Essential:
- 4–6+ years experience in a Senior Data Analyst or similar analytics role.
- Extensive experience in Customer Analytics, Marketing Analytics, Financial Analytics, or similar business-facing analytical domains.
- Advanced SQL skills, with a proven ability to solve complex data and analytics problems.
- Strong experience building high-quality, trusted data assets from complex inputs and multiple data sources.
- Solid understanding of statistical methods and analytical techniques for business decision-making.
- Experience with AI/ML techniques and methods, with the ability to support or develop a range of model types.
- Practical experience with data engineering tasks, ideally including contribution to ETL pipelines and data workflows.
- Strong understanding of data quality, data governance, and analytical best practices.
- Experience working with modern cloud data platforms and databases such as Redshift.
- Demonstrated ability to work closely with business stakeholders to define, prioritise, and deliver valuable data assets.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights for technical and non-technical audiences.
