Role Description
Data Analysis & Modeling
- Develop, implement, and maintain advanced data models and algorithms to independently analyze large and complex datasets.
- Apply statistical methods and tools to interpret data and generate actionable insights.
- Conduct exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies.
Programming & Data Processing
- Write efficient and scalable code using Python and SQL for data processing and analysis.
- Implement data transformation workflows to process data from multiple sources.
Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning (optional)
- Stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning and incorporate them into analytical solutions when appropriate.
Data Integration & Management
- Understand and implement data integration approaches to ensure seamless and consistent data flows.
- Work with large-scale datasets, ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
- Collaborate with data engineers and other team members to design and optimize databases.
Client Collaboration & Reporting
- Work closely with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
- Prepare and present detailed reports and dashboards that communicate complex data insights in a clear and actionable manner.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to support informed business decision-making.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Economics, Data Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- At least 34 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in a product-based environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and dbt; experience with AWS is a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Superset for data visualization.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, analyze root causes, and propose data-driven solutions.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to perform data storytelling and clearly communicate insights to non-data stakeholders.
- Knowledge of Python for data processing and analysis automation is a strong advantage.
