JOB DESCRIPTION
- Conduct credit analysis of corporate and SME customers, including analysis of financial statements, cash flow, leverage, profitability, and repayment capacity.
- Perform in-depth business and industry analysis, including assessment of industry trends, competitive position, market risks, and sensitivity to economic factors.
- Review and assess borrower risk profile, including business risk, financial risk, management quality, ownership structure, and group exposure.
- Analyze projected financials and cash flow forecasts, ensuring assumptions are reasonable, supportable, and consistent with business conditions.
- Evaluate credit structure, including loan purpose, facility type, tenor, pricing, collateral, covenants, and risk mitigation measures.
- Prepare comprehensive Credit Write-up / Credit Proposal, clearly presenting risk assessment, key findings, mitigating factors, and credit recommendations.
- Identify key credit risks, early warning signals, and potential problem areas, and propose appropriate risk control or mitigation actions.
- Work closely with Relationship Managers (RM) to understand customer needs while ensuring credit appetite and credit policy compliance.
- Ensure all credit assessments comply with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and credit approval standards.
- Support post-approval activities, including credit condition follow-up, covenant monitoring, and periodic credit review, as assigned.
- Provide guidance or coaching to junior analysts (for Manager level) and act as a key reviewer to ensure credit quality.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Banking, or related fields.
- Minimum 3–7 years of experience in corporate credit analysis, credit underwriting, or commercial banking (Assistant Manager – Manager level).
- Strong knowledge of financial statement analysis, cash flow modeling, and credit risk assessment.
- Solid understanding of corporate banking products, loan structures, and credit approval processes.
- Ability to perform independent credit judgment with sound risk awareness.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Good communication skills with the ability to explain credit risks clearly to stakeholders.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
