Role Description

As a Senior Costing Specialist, you will play a critical role in the financial management of the organization. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Long Thanh. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining product costing models, analyzing cost data to support pricing and profitability strategies, and preparing reports for stakeholders to inform business decisions. You will coordinate with cross-functional teams for cost optimization and ensure compliance with internal financial controls. Additionally, you will support cost forecasting, budgeting, and identifying potential cost-saving opportunities within the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that product's costing and pricings are calculated accurately and timely.
  • Make sure that all product's BOMs are created accurately.
  • Revaluate labour rate, MOH rate, cycle time periodically.
  • Make sure that cost of products in ERP is correct by checking accuracy of costing transactions, material transaction in ERP, suggest measures to solve problems (if any).
  • Control variance of BOM between ERP and actuals, drive the production department to minimize material waste.
  • Control material price fluctuation monthly, ensure all price increases are approved by authorized personnel, recalculate product's price in case of significant material fluctuation.
  • Control gross margin, make sure that actual gross margins do not deviate from the standard significantly. All significant deviations from the standard (if any) can be explained.
  • Recommend initiatives for product cost optimization.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of equivalent experience in manufacturing; automotive parts manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of Cost Management, Budgeting, and Cost Forecasting.
  • Fluent in English.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent Problem-Solving, Organizational, and Analytical skills.
  • Proven work experience in cost analysis or a similar role.
  • Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations and ERP software is a plus.
