About The Role

The Senior Costing & FP&A Analyst plays a key role in supporting manufacturing finance at Zotefoams Vietnam. This position is responsible for driving both costing and FP&A activities, ensuring accurate cost control, meaningful financial analysis, and timely management reporting. The role is critical in supporting production ramp‑up, operational decision‑making, and financial visibility within a growing manufacturing environment.

Role Responsibilities

Costing & Manufacturing Finance Support

  • Support the setup and maintenance of costing structures, including BOM, routing, and standard costing.
  • Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to ensure accuracy of production and costing data.
  • Ensure costing readiness during production ramp‑up phases.
  • Maintain accuracy of BOM, routing, and production data in the ERP system.
  • Perform monthly production variance analysis, including material, labour, and overhead variances.
  • Analyse cost drivers and provide recommendations for cost optimisation initiatives.
  • Support product costing, margin analysis, and pricing‑related decisions.

FP&A & Management Reporting

  • Prepare monthly management reports, including P&L analysis, variance analysis, and performance insights.
  • Provide financial commentary to support operational and cost‑related decision‑making.
  • Support financial visibility during production ramp‑up stages.
  • Support Group reporting requirements and ensure timely submission in line with group timelines.

Inventory & COGS Control

  • Support inventory reconciliation and physical stock counts.
  • Monitor slow‑moving and obsolete inventory.
  • Ensure accuracy of COGS calculations and related accounting entries.
  • Ensure accurate inventory valuation in line with accounting standards.

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Support the annual budgeting process.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and rolling forecasts in collaboration with stakeholders.

Cross‑functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Support cost efficiency initiatives and operational performance improvement.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of costing methodologies and inventory valuation.
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing cost structures and cost drivers.
  • Solid understanding of budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A principles.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and data accuracy.
  • 5–8 years of experience in costing or FP&A, with strong manufacturing experience.
  • Experience working with ERP systems such as D365, SAP, or Oracle is preferred.
  • Strong analytical and financial analysis skills.
  • Business‑oriented mindset with hands‑on, execution‑focused approach.
  • Ability to work effectively across functions.
  • Fluent English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
