Are you interested in high-level legal work, supporting the growing toy business of the LEGO Group in Vietnam Step into a high-impact legal role at the LMV (LEGO Manufacturing Vietnam) factory and be the trusted legal voice that protects one of the world's most beloved brands

This role is based full-time at the LMV factory in Tan Uyen, Binh Duong, with a hybrid work model allowing up to 2 days working from home per week.

Relocation assistance is not supported for this role.


Core Responsibilities



  • Act as Senior Corporate Counsel for LMV on all legal tasks and provide legal advice to a wide variety of stakeholders on all issues related to the operation of LMV, including but not limited to employment law, labor law, contract law, construction law, customs compliance, real estate matters, security issues, confidentiality and privacy law, ethics and compliance, and environmental law.
  • Handle all legal department work, including but not limited to document archiving, company seal keeping, and preparation of materials for Board of Directors meetings.
  • Support LMV and business stakeholders, as well as other Corporate Counsels across the company globally, with drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts related to LMV operations — both in terms of working with LEGO contract templates and external parties contract templates, including operational contracts within the supply chain.
  • Create and maintain standard contract templates and guidelines as part of a defined review cadence, using the company's electronic document management system.
  • Support stakeholders with follow-up advice and consultation regarding contract terms and negotiation strategy.
  • Support stakeholders by providing training to business units on contract-related matters, such as contract templates and contract law.
  • Provide support on any operational activities across APAC and in global projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of LMV's Supervisory Board Meeting pre-reads, agenda and minutes of the meetings twice per year.
  • Provide training — or arrange for training — for different business units at LMV on relevant legal topics, including but not limited to Data Privacy, Intellectual Property, Stewardship, Compliance and Ethics, company policies, as well as preparing materials for government visits, audits, or possible dawn raids.
  • Participate in LMV management meetings and activities and share corresponding responsibilities as a leadership team member in terms of decision-making and risk management for the LMV factory.

In this position, you will join the LCR China & APAC Legal Team and play an important role in protecting the world-famous LEGO brand and products for the builders of the future.

LCR China & APAC is the regional legal team covering all of Asia Pacific, with lawyers based in Shanghai and Jiaxing in China, Vietnam, and Singapore, in a variety of legal positions. The main focus of the LCR China & APAC team is to



  • Drive and support all legal tasks in our region, including intellectual property rights and corporate matters.
  • Act as the main point of contact for relevant legal issues, in accordance with our Mandate and Key Operating Principles.
  • Occasionally participate in tasks and/or provide legal support globally in other regions.

Do You Have What It Takes




  • Law degree (such as J.D., LL.M., or equivalent).
  • A minimum of 7–10 years of post-graduate legal experience from an in-house role at a Vietnamese or global company, or a mid-level law firm.
  • Proven track record in commercial law, including but not limited to contracts, employment law, and compliance matters.
  • Strong ability to identify and articulate legal issues, and to communicate concisely while building trust with business stakeholders.
  • Business partner mindset with a proven ability to advise business clients effectively.
  • Experience in negotiating with government officials on major regulatory and legal issues.
  • Ability to deliver effective presentations and conduct training sessions.
  • Eagerness and ability to learn new skills, as well as the willingness to follow through on tasks.
  • Highly collaborative, with a curious mindset and a can-do approach.
  • A genuine team player and leader who demonstrates professional demeanor and maturity.
  • Experience engaging and working with government authorities.
  • Advanced English and Vietnamese proficiency in both writing and speech is required.

  • Experience in crisis management and resolution.
  • Experience in conducting internal investigation and compliance review.
  • Experience with data privacy issues.
  • Experience with intellectual property issues.
  • Willingness to travel; no more than 30 days per year.
