Role Overview:

As a Senior Copywriter, you'll play a key creative role in shaping the voice, tone, and storytelling of MMusic's brand projects, campaigns, and original IPs. You'll work closely with the Creative Director, Designers, Strategists, and other stakeholders to turn cultural insights and brand ideas into compelling, multi-platform content that resonates with fans and audiences.

This role is ideal for someone who loves turning big ideas into powerful words across digital, social, branded content, and experiential formats.

Key Responsibilities:

Concept & Copywriting

  • Write and develop standout copy across campaign assets: from video scripts and social posts to headlines, taglines, and artist-led content.
  • Craft narratives that capture both brand personality and cultural nuance whether for a fandom platform or a Gen Z activation.
  • Support creative ideation in brainstorms and concept development for campaigns, events, and branded content.

Storytelling for Brands & IPs

  • Translate creative strategies into clear, compelling storytelling across multiple touchpoints.
  • Help shape brand messaging and copy tone across our owned-and-operated IPs (e.g. GENFest, fandom platforms) and brand collaborations.
  • Contribute to pitch decks, moodboards, and mock-ups with writing that brings the idea to life.

Production & Execution Support

  • Collaborate with designers, video producers, and external creators to ensure the copy stays consistent and sharp from concept to final output.
  • Participate in scriptwriting, storyboarding, and asset reviews throughout the production process.
  • Review and proofread campaign materials for clarity, tone, and accuracy.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Strategy, Account, and Artist teams to align messaging across all workstreams.
  • Co-create with artists and fan communities when needed, especially on culturally-driven content pieces.
  • Be the voice guardian for assigned projects from internal drafts to client-facing presentations.

Creative Curiosity & Growth

  • Keep up with content trends, emerging storytelling formats, and internet culture especially in the Gen Z and music space.
  • Share creative references, inspiration, and new ideas with the team regularly.
  • Contribute to internal brainstorms and learning sessions as a senior voice on the creative team.

Qualifications:

  • 35 years of experience in copywriting or creative content roles, preferably in agency, entertainment, or brand storytelling.
  • A strong portfolio that showcases writing across digital, social, and branded formats ideally with some youth/cultural focus.
  • Fluent in both Vietnamese (native) and English (professional) with the ability to switch tones for different audiences.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, and confident in presenting your thinking.
  • Passionate about music, entertainment, and the fast-evolving creative scene in Vietnam.
  • Bonus: Experience writing for or with artists, influencers, or youth-focused IPs.
