Job Description

Our client is a premier architectural firm providing a range of services from architecture, urban planning, interior design, and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Manage contracts team and plan team resources.
  • Direct and develop policies and processes that govern the contracts team.
  • Developing and executing bidding strategies that align to business objectives and Client's requirements.
  • Provide guidance on contractual terms in Services Agreements and the assessment of Request for Proposal (RFP).
  • Drive and develop respective countries and typologies fee scale benchmark indicators based on current market situation.
  • Responsible for the administration of the consultancy contracts (i.e., ensuring that proper consultant contracts have been executed in an expeditious manner, verification of claims, additional services administration and monitoring approval status by client, etc.)
  • Chair (or arrange for representation during) all client, consultant and/or contractor meetings in relation to fee agreements.
  • Perform complex analysis for consultancy contracts, streamline operational procedures, perform continuous improvement activities, and present project reports to senior management.
  • Manage, assess and analyze Request for Proposal (RFP) documents to provide a clear indication of project requirements.
  • Formulation of fee proposals and preparation of necessary documentation for RFP submissions.
  • Prepare, review and make recommendations in the negotiation of terms and conditions of Main Services Agreement / Sub-Consultancy Agreements, in collaboration with all necessary internal stakeholders.
  • Assist the Directors in liaising with Employers, Consultants and internal stakeholders in managing overall financial health of the projects, i.e.: invoicing, resource projections, etc.
  • Reviews, comments and recommends on the adaptation made on Standard Conditions of Contract by the Client's lawyer/Quantity Surveyor to suit project needs.
  • Edits and vets all reports and correspondences from the Contracts team.

Requirements

  • Graduate with a recognized Degree in Construction Management, Construction Economics, Science in Building or equivalent
  • Possesses at least 10 years of working experience in the relevant procurement-related field, with demonstrated expertise and success in the formation of strategic commercial relationships based on business needs, vendor negotiations, competitive procurement tactics and contracting in a regulated environment.
  • Ability to lead, motivate and promote the continued development of professional staff in a decentralized environment.
  • Relevant experience in handling mega size projects and sound knowledge on PSSCOC, SIA, REDAS and any other forms of international contracts
  • Knowledge in contracts review and contract related risk management
  • Strong analytical, project management, negotiation, and change management skills.
  • Strong in verbal and written communication skills
  • MS Office knowledge (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
