A. Resposibilities:
The Senior Commercial Manager (Online) will lead the commercial strategy, planning for Guardian's online business, driving sales growth, profitability, and customer engagement. This role will be responsible for end-to-end category management, supplier negotiations, promotional planning, and ensuring seamless integration between online and offline channels to deliver an exceptional omnichannel customer experience.
1. Commercial Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement the online commercial strategy in line with company objectives.
- Identify growth opportunities in product assortment, pricing, and promotions.
- Ensure alignment with overall omnichannel strategy and retail brand positioning.
2. Category & Assortment Management:
- Manage and optimize online product ranges, ensuring relevance, availability, and profitability.
- Work closely with suppliers to secure exclusive online products and competitive terms.
3. Supplier & Brand Partnerships:
- Negotiate commercial terms and joint business plans (JBP) with key suppliers.
- Leverage suppliers marketing capabilities to enhance online visibility and campaigns.
4. Promotional & Marketing Execution:
- Plan and execute online promotional calendars in collaboration with Marketing and E-Commerce teams.
- Ensure promotional activities are aligned with category strategies and profitability goals.
- Drive traffic and conversion through data-driven campaigns.
5. Financial & Performance Management:
- Own and deliver online commercial KPIs, including sales, Total Commercial Income (TCI), market share and stock.
- Monitor performance through analytics and recommend corrective actions where needed.
6. Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the offline Commercial team to create synergies in assortment and promotions
B. Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- Minimum 810 years of commercial or category management experience, with at least 3 years in e-commerce or omnichannel retail.
- Proven track record of delivering sales growth and profitability in an online retail environment.
- Strong negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable strategies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and manage a team.
- Proficient in e-commerce platforms, digital marketing tools, and analytics software.
