The Senior Cloud Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services. This role requires deep expertise in cloud technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cloud computing, a strong technical background, and the ability to drive initiatives that enhance our cloud capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and implement scalable, secure, and resilient cloud infrastructure solutions.
- Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to integrate cloud solutions seamlessly.
- Manage and monitor cloud environments to ensure optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
- Implement best practices for cloud resource management, including automation, monitoring, and incident response.
- Ensure cloud infrastructure complies with industry standards and regulations.
- Implement and maintain security best practices, including identity and access management, encryption, and network security.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in orchestrating containerized components of an information system in cloud ecosystems.
- At least 2 practical experiences in orchestrating containerized components of an information system and their operations in a government cloud environment or a similar IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) infrastructure. Each of these practical experiences must include responsibility for orchestrating containerized components of an information system in cloud ecosystems.
- Out of these at 2 practical experiences, at least one practical experience must be a project with a minimum financial value of 500,000.00 EUR excluding VAT.
- Possess a valid AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certificate, or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure 2023 Architect Associate, or an equivalent certificate. The candidate shall demonstrate this participation condition by providing a copy of the valid certificate.
