OLYMPUS MEDICAL SYSTEMS VIETNAM CO., LTD is a subsidiary of OLYMPUS CORPORATION, one of the Japanese leading manufacturers for medical field. Along with our business expansion in Vietnam, we are looking for suitable, qualified candidates for the following positions at our offices in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi.

Primary Purpose

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Key Accounts while creating market demand for strategic products in alignment with the company's sales and marketing strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with distributors to deliver excellent customer support through product presentations, demonstrations, and targeted promotional activities.
  • Effectively communicate the product's technological advantages and clinical benefits to strengthen customer confidence and improve sales conversion and win ratio.
  • Drive sales growth and business development within the private medical sector by promoting the company's medical device portfolio and integrated healthcare solutions.
  • Deliver high levels of customer satisfaction by providing professional support, product knowledge, and responsive service.

Key Accountabilities

1. Business Strategic:

  • Develop detailed action plans for each Key Account (KA) to generate business opportunities in all departments at hospital. Regularly review Key Account (KA) performance, evaluate the progress and promptly revise action plans to achieve sales targets and business objectives.
  • Maximize the efficiency and utilization of demo assets, minimizing overdue returns.

2. Sales Promotional Activities:

  • Schedule and conduct regular customer visits and meetings within assigned territories to understand doctors clinical needs, investment plans, and expansion opportunities.
  • Deliver impactful product presentations, demonstrations, and On-Patient Demonstrations (OPD) to promote product awareness, strengthen customer confidence, and generate new business opportunities.
  • Design or customize product configurations based on clinical requirements, workflow optimization, and the company's strategic product direction.
  • Provide technical advice/support to distributors on product-related issues to enhance their competitive advantage in terms of specifications compared to competitors.
  • Verify and update prospect information to ensure accurate records in the Salesforce system.
  • Support distributors in strategic sales activities, customer engagement, tender preparation, and technical discussions to improve the overall sales win ratio.
  • Responsible for driving revenue growth within private healthcare facilities by proactively identifying and engaging prospective customers, nurturing relationships, and converting leads into qualified sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Service, QA-RA... to ensure effective project execution and high customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare regular sales activity reports, market intelligence updates for management review the efficiency.

3. Market Research:

  • Collaborate closely with the Marketing team and Field Service Engineer (FSE), Distributor to get the data of existing installed systems, competitor installed system to better understand market volume.
  • Get the market information, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new business opportunities and recommend product or marketing improvements.

4. Marketing Support:

  • Support the Marketing team and distributors in the preparation, coordination, and execution of events, congresses, workshops, and other promotional activities to ensure successful event implementation.
  • Consult to the Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) about products and solutions during congresses, workshops, and other events.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team in the planning, preparation, and execution of annual training programs for distributors to ensure effective training implementation and enhance product knowledge, sales capability.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement of event/ training organization.

5. Others:

Undertake additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the Line Manager.

Inherent Requirements

Formal Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or above

Key Skills / Core Competencies

  • Skills: Customer Relationship Management, Product Demonstration & Clinical Application, Training & Mentoring, Communication & Presentation, Strategic Thinking & Problem Solving.
  • Clinical Knowledge: A strong understanding of clinical practices, medical terminology, and healthcare environments.
  • Customer Focus: A strong commitment to understanding and meeting the needs of healthcare providers and patients.
  • Compliance: Ensuring to follow all applicable laws and regulations. This includes industry specific regulations.
  • Fluently speaking in English (TOEIC 700)
  • Computer's skill (Word, Excel, PPT)
  • Based in HN/HCM but frequently engaged in business trips to other areas (more than 2 times a month)

Experience

  • More than 3 years of experience in medical device industry is preferred.
  • In depth knowledge of medical device market (preferrable Endoscopy or/and Laparoscopy)
