Job Description

Highgate is seeking a highly experienced Senior Chief Engineer to lead engineering operations across multiple properties, ensuring premium service standards, operational excellence, and technical reliability.

Key Responsibilities

Provide top-level technical leadership and governance across assigned properties and projects

• Lead commissioning, handover, and engineering setup for new developments (residential, office, retail, hospitality)

• Ensure all MEP systems operate safely, efficiently, and continuously across multiple sites

• Oversee preventive maintenance (PPM), technical audits, and emergency response for critical systems

• Manage budgets (OPEX/CAPEX), energy optimization, and technical vendor performance

• Lead, train, and develop engineering teams, including succession planning and performance management

• Participate in design reviews and provide technical consulting to optimize project efficiency and cost

Requirement

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, or Mechatronics Engineering

• 5–7+ years of experience as Chief Engineer managing large-scale properties (Grade A offices, malls, hotels/resorts)

• Strong expertise in MEP systems (HVAC, Chiller, BMS, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, etc.)

• Hands-on experience in pre-opening, project setup, and technical handover for multiple projects

• Excellent leadership, strategic planning, budgeting, and problem-solving skills

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; professional English proficiency

• Ability to work under pressure with a strong sense of ownership and high service standards
