1. Job Summary
The Senior Category Management Accountant Specialist is responsible for collecting and analyzing financial information to support Marketing budgeting, conducting P&L calculations for new product launches or relaunch projects, evaluating performance by categories/brands/SKUs, reviewing internal pricing, calculating export selling prices, and providing timely financial insights to support business decisionmaking.
2. Key Responsibilities
- Participate in reviewing annual Marketing budgets and propose alternative budget scenarios to meet company goals.
- Prepare and analyze Marketing budget reports; compare actual vs. budget vs. previous periods.
- Prepare monthly performance reports for categories/brands/SKUs for Marketing and Domestic Sales Management.
- Collect information and perform pricing, costing, and profit calculations for export markets by product and market.
- Perform financial evaluation and calculations for projects related to product categories.
- Review domestic price adjustment plans and coordinate with relevant departments to submit pricing proposals to distribution channels.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by management.
3. Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Auditing.
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, management accounting, or financial analysis.
- At least 1 year in a similar position in large organizations.
Knowledge & Skills
- Deep understanding of financial and management accounting.
- Strong analytical and reporting skills.
- Good communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to solve problems effectively.
- Proficient with accounting software, particularly ERP systems.
- Capable of working independently and under pressure.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- High level of accuracy, responsibility, and professional integrity.
