We are looking for Senior Business Development Excecutive to join our Business Development Division in Vietnam (based in Hanoi). This role will initially be a temporary backfill for a maternity leave (approx. 8 months), with a strong possibility of long-term conversion based on performance and business needs among our business entities in Vietnam.
You will work directly with the Head of Business Development Division as an assistant manager role to shape strategy and execute across the full lifecycle of energy & infrastructure projects, while also supporting post-M&A project management and legal/commercial operations.
What You'll Be Doing:
Project Development Greenfield & M&A
- Support building the project pipeline: Wind, Solar, LNG-to-Power, LNG terminal, etc.
- Prepare Investment Proposals, Concept Notes, project timelines, and approval documents for internal governance.
- Participate in business development, market screening, and M&A opportunities.
- Coordinate due diligence (Legal, Financial, Technical), and assist in SPA/JVA negotiations.
- Build & maintain comprehensive project Data Rooms: legal, technical, financial, contractual.
Project Management Construction & Operation
- Collaborate with Project Managers in planning, budgeting, and tracking progress
- Coordinate permitting and licensing processes
- Construction Licenses, Power Licenses, Land, Grid connection, PPA/DPPA.
- Manage contractors & vendors
- Support commissioning, COD preparation, and project handover to O&M teams.
Qualifications
- 46 years of experience in project development, investment, or project management in energy sector
- Strong knowledge in legal, regulatory, and/or M&A aspects is a big plus
- Strategic thinking with a hands-on execution mindset
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple workstreams
- Proficiency in English (verbal & written)
