SENIOR BUSINESS ANALYST

(E-commerce – Magento 2)

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst with a strong background in e-commerce, particularly Magento 2/Adobe Commerce, to drive requirement analysis and solution design for large-scale digital commerce projects. You will act as the key bridge between business stakeholders and the development team — translating complex business needs into clear technical specifications, ensuring solution quality, and mentoring junior BAs to help deliver best-in-class e-commerce experiences for our clients.

Key Deliverables & Responsibilities1. Business Analysis & Requirements

• Understand customer's business processes, needs, and requirements within the e-commerce domain

• Analyze requirements from both a business and an end-user perspective

• Ensure business requirements are fully understood by the Development team; provide input to design and product specifications

• Document functional and business requirements clearly and comprehensively

• Create wireframes, activity diagrams, and system process flows

2. Solution Design & Technical Consulting

• Apply deep knowledge of the software development process and hands-on e-commerce experience, especially Magento 2/Adobe Commerce, to guide solution design

• Work closely with the development team to review specifications, clarify requirements, and consult on solutions or resolve issues

• Track and manage all change requests, specifications, and requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle

3. Team Leadership & Mentoring

• Manage, train, and mentor BA members to achieve the team's goals

• Guide team members in applying BA best practices, tools, and methodologies

4. Client & Stakeholder Engagement

• Communicate complex ideas clearly and effectively to clients and cross-functional stakeholders

• Present requirement documents, solutions, and project updates to clients and internal stakeholders

• Other tasks as assigned

RequirementsMust-Have

• Deep knowledge of the software development process with hands-on experience in the e-commerce industry, particularly Magento 2/Adobe Commerce

• Advanced use of Microsoft Visio, prototyping, wireframe, and use case tools

• Strong business analytical skills and a logical mind; able to grasp complex software systems and learn quickly

• Good design documentation skills; experience producing clear, concise documentation

• Solid UML knowledge

• English fluency in 4 skills

• Good communication, presentation, and management skills

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with other e-commerce platforms — Shopify Plus, BigCommerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology

• Experience working directly with international clients and stakeholders
