Senior BI/DA - Tableau - Remote

• Contract duration: 3 months (can be extended)

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Tableau dashboards and reports for business users and leadership.
• Translate business requirements into effective data visualizations and KPIs.
• Build reusable data sources, extracts, and calculated fields in Tableau.
• Ensure dashboards follow best practices for performance, usability, and storytelling.
• Work with large datasets from multiple sources (SQL databases, data warehouses, cloud platforms).
• Perform data validation and ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Optimize queries and Tableau performance.
• Recommendations based on data trends and patterns
• Define Tableau standards, naming conventions, and visualization guidelines.
• Manage Tableau Server / Tableau Cloud: permissions, schedules, subscriptions.

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in BI / Data Analytics, with 3+ years of hands-on Tableau.
• Strong expertise in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server/Cloud.
• Advanced SQL skills (CTEs, window functions, performance tuning).
• Experience with data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, SQL Server, etc.).
• Solid understanding of data modeling (star schema, fact/dimension tables).
