WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for talented backend engineers to join our team. You will be joining a small and awesome startup team with amazing team members, including ex-googlers and Ph.D. candidates to help design highly available and scalable systems in a fast-paced development environment.
The founder is from Silicon Valley, and used to be tech lead at Google. He was also a co-founder of Harmony ONE (currently 4 Bln valuation). We are here to help you reach your full potential.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with both the product and frontend teams to quickly develop, test, and implement new features.
- Architect secure, scalable backend systems (including database, infrastructure, source code, etc.). Develop and maintain services, mentor juniors, and review code for quality and efficiency.
- Work closely with management and the development team to ensure development stays on track-troubleshooting, innovating, and improving existing codebase.
QUALIFICATIONS
- + 4 years of working experience as a Backend Developer
- Solid Computer Science fundamentals and excellent problem-solving skills. Strong understanding of software design patterns, data structures, algorithms, and system design.
- Proficient with NodeJS / Typescript. Strong experience with RESTful API, GraphQL, and microservices. Deep understanding of database design and optimization, including SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases.
- Experience in DevOps, including:
- Working knowledge of infrastructure as code (IaC) concepts and tools
- Experience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of monitoring and logging solutions in production environments
- Familiarity with cloud security practices and implementation
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker
- Basic understanding of container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
- Strong knowledge of software development best practices, including agile development, continuous integration, and continuous delivery.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in leading technical teams is a big plus.
