We are looking for a Senior Backend Developer (.NET or Java) with strong technical skills, good English communication, and a willingness to reskill into Mendix Low-Code development. You will work on enterprise-grade applications, collaborate with global teams, and transition into building solutions on the Mendix platform.
This role is ideal for senior engineers who enjoy learning new technologies and want to grow into Low-Code / Mendix expert roles while still leveraging strong backend fundamentals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance backend services using .NET or Java.
- Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, and technical discussions.
- Design clean, maintainable, and scalable architectures.
- Collaborate closely with BA, QA, PM, and other cross-functional teams.
- Learn and transition to Mendix low-code application development (training provided).
- Build Mendix modules, microflows, domain models, and integrations once reskilled.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across backend and Mendix layers.
Qualification
- 48+ years of hands-on experience with Java (Spring Boot) or .NET (C#, ASP.NET Core).
- Strong understanding of OOP, design patterns, and enterprise application architecture.
- Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and SQL/NoSQL databases.
- Good English communication (verbal & written) for working with international teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Willingness to learn and reskill into Mendix or other low-code platforms.
Nice to Have
- Experience in system integration, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure), or CI/CD pipelines.
- Familiarity with front-end technologies (React/Angular) is an advantage.
- Previous low-code experience (Mendix, OutSystems, PowerApps) is a big plus.
- Mendix Rapid Developer / Intermediate Developer certification (optional but good to have).
