Senior Backend / Data Platform Engineer

1. Role Overview

This role focuses on designing and building the core data and computation backbone of an AI

optimization platform and enabling high-throughput experimentation, data pipelines, and

model integration.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable backend systems for data ingestion and processing

• Build and maintain data pipelines supporting AI/ML experimentation loops

• Optimize storage and querying across SQL and NoSQL systems

• Develop services to support iterative experimentation and optimization workflows

• Collaborate with AI/ML engineers to productionize models

• Ensure reliability, performance, and scalability of backend infrastructure

3. Requirements

• 8 years of backend engineering experience, particularly in ML infrastructure or experimentation

tracking systems

• Knowledge of optimization systems or simulation pipelines

• Background in deep tech/semiconductor / scientific computing

• Strong experience in:

o JavaScript (Node.js)

o SQL & NoSQL systems

• Experience designing:

o Distributed systems

o Data-intensive applications

• Strong understanding of:

o Data modeling

o Performance optimization

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Strong English communication
