Senior Automation Engineer

Role Description

Analyze complex project requirements and specifications to identify optimal test strategies and automation opportunities.

Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automated test cases within the defined test framework.

Execute both automated and manual test cases to validate product functionality, performance, and security.

Identify, document, track, and verify defects, ensuring timely resolution in collaboration with the development team.

Maintain and enhance existing test scripts, optimizing for accuracy, efficiency, and reusability.

Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other QA team members to ensure seamless integration of automated testing in the development lifecycle.

Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to junior QA team members.

Support customers during product deployment, ensuring smooth delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Contribute to continuous improvement of testing tools, frameworks, and processes.

Perform additional tasks as assigned by the team leader or project manager.

Job Requirements:

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent.

5+ years of experience in software development or automation testing.

Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with test automation tools such as xk6, Cypress, NUnit, Reqandrool, Cucumber, or similar frameworks.

Proficient in black-box and gray-box testing methodologies.

Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile/Scrum methodology.

Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Willingness and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, agile development environment.

Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal) essential for daily collaboration with international clients.
