Senior Associates & Associates

HM&P Law Firm is looking for qualified lawyers to join our team in Ho Chi Minh City for the following positions:

1. Senior Associate

Job Description:

The Senior Associate will work closely with Partners and play a leading role in advising clients and managing legal matters across a broad range of practice areas, including corporate, investment, M&A, banking and finance, capital markets, labour and employment, dispute resolution and other commercial legal matters.

The role includes advising Vietnamese and international clients, drafting and reviewing transaction documents, commercial contracts and legal opinions, leading legal due diligence exercises, managing client matters and transaction timelines, supporting client meetings and negotiations, and mentoring junior team members where appropriate.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in law;
• Lawyer Practicing Certificate;
• Minimum 05 years of work experience in a professional law firm;
• Strong practical experience in corporate and commercial legal practice, particularly in M&A, foreign investment and cross-border transactions;
• Excellent legal drafting, legal research, analytical thinking, negotiation and communication skills;
• Strong commercial awareness, sound legal judgment, professionalism and ability to manage client matters independently.

2. Associate

Job Description:

The Associate will assist Partners, Senior Associates and other team members in carrying out professional legal work for Vietnamese and international clients. The role includes advising on foreign investment, M&A, corporate, banking, finance, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, labour, capital markets and other commercial legal matters.

The Associate will also be involved in drafting, reviewing and negotiating transaction documents, conducting legal research and analysis, managing client expectations and supporting project delivery under the guidance of Partners or Senior Associates.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in law;
• Lawyer Practicing Certificate;
• Minimum 03 years of work experience in a professional law firm;
• Good knowledge of Vietnam's legal system and practical legal issues;
• Good command of written and spoken Vietnamese and English;
• Strong logical thinking, legal analysis, reasoning, negotiation and drafting skills;
• Responsible, cautious, confident and able to understand client objectives and legal needs.

Working time: Full-time, Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Working location: ITAXA Building, 126 Nguyen Thi Minh Khai Street, Xuan Hoa Ward, Ho Chi Minh City.
