Job Description: Senior Associate
Dream Incubator (DI or the firm) is seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Associate (Consultant) at our Southeast Asia offices complex. As a leading management consulting firm, we are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and strategic insights to our clients.
During the Senior Associate's tenure of assignment/service, they are expected to act in the best interests of the firm at all times. They agree to devote their full working time to their job duties and to any other duties the firm may assign to them from time to time. The details about their roles and responsibilities are as follows:
Role Summary
The Senior Associate plays a key role in delivering consulting engagements by leading project modules, structuring problem-solving approaches, guiding junior team members, and ensuring high-quality client deliverables. The Senior Associate is expected to bridge strategic direction from Project Managers and Senior Managers with day-to-day project execution while maintaining DI's standards of analytical rigor, logical thinking, and professional communication.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead assigned project modules and workstreams from problem definition to final recommendation.
• Translate high-level project objectives into actionable workplans, analytical frameworks, and hypotheses.
• Structure key business questions and guide Associates and Analysts in data collection, research, and analysis activities.
• Conduct advanced qualitative and quantitative analyses, including market assessment, competitive benchmarking, business model evaluation, financial analysis, and strategic option development.
• Synthesize findings into clear, logical, and actionable recommendations for clients.
• Ensure project outputs comply with DI's standards of quality, logic, and presentation excellence.
• Manage timelines, priorities, and deliverables within assigned modules to ensure timely project execution.
2.Team Management & Capability Development
• Provide day-to-day guidance, coaching, and technical support to Analysts and Associates.
• Review analyses, reports, and presentation materials prepared by junior consultants and provide constructive feedback.
• Support the development of team members through knowledge sharing, on-the-job coaching, and training.
• Foster effective collaboration within project teams and across DI offices where applicable.
3.Client Engagement Support
• Participate actively in client meetings, interviews, workshops, and presentations.
• Support project managers in managing client communications and addressing client requests.
• Develop strong understanding of client business issues and contribute to strategic discussions.
• Present analyses and recommendations confidently to both internal and external stakeholders.
4.Quality Assurance & Knowledge Development
• Ensure analytical rigor, consistency, and accuracy across project deliverables.
• Maintain quality control over project outputs, including logical structure, storyline development, and presentation materials.
• Contribute to DI knowledge assets, methodologies, frameworks, and best practices.
• Support continuous improvement of consulting tools, templates, and work processes.
5.Business Development & Firm Building
• Support proposal development, business development materials, and project pitches.
• Participate in project scoping, proposal formulation, and preliminary hypothesis development.
• Contribute to internal initiatives that strengthen DI's consulting capabilities and market presence.
• Actively support recruitment, training, and office development activities when required.
Expected Outputs
• High-quality consulting presentations with clear key messages and actionable recommendations.
• Well-structured analytical frameworks and validated business hypotheses.
• Effective management of assigned project modules and workstreams.
• Strong coaching and development of junior consultants.
• Consistent delivery of outputs that meet DI standards for logic, quality, and client impact.
Qualifications
• 3–6 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, investment, business analysis, or related fields.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and structured communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage workstreams and coordinate project activities.
• Experience in supervising or mentoring junior team members is preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
• Bachelor's degree from a leading university; postgraduate qualifications are an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, financial modeling, and business analysis.
