Main Responsibilities

The Ho Chi Minh office of Baker McKenzie is seeking a Senior associate attorney for its Employment & Labor practice group. The positions will provide hands-on support and manage intellectually challenging, high stakes and complex legal matters.

Key Skills and Experience Required

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate all or the majority of the following:

• At least 6 years of experience, with strong academic credentials
• Must be a qualified lawyer in Vietnam or in another jurisdiction
• Experience in or have great interests in employment and labor law matters, both advisory and contentious, in a law firm, consultancy or in-house environment
• Aptitude and interest in business development and promotional work
• Excellent proficiency in English
• Ability to function smoothly in a global team environment with culturally diverse team members
• Both foreign and Vietnamese lawyers are welcomed to apply. Preferences would be given to Vietnamese lawyers who have obtained law degrees abroad.
