We are currently seeking a Senior-level Accounting & Tax Associate to join our Ho Chi Minh City office.

Position: Accounting & Tax Associate (Senior Level)

Location: Ho Chi Minh City

Job requirements:

(Must have)

o Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, Banking, Commerce

o 34-year experience in accounting, auditing, or tax consulting.

o Good working proficiency in English (both communication and reporting)

o Strong analytical, problem solving skills

o Good time management, task management and teamwork abilities

o Detail-oriented, responsible, and hard-working

(Nice to have)

o CPA or equivalent qualifications (completed or in progress)

o Experience in a Big 4 firm

Job responsibilities:

(Position Overview)

You will supervise junior associates (1-2 per client) and reporting directly to Managers.

(Key Responsibilities)

a. Manage progress of jobs, tasks assigned to juniors, and client deadlines.

b. Perform detailed review of client accounting and tax reports as prepared by juniors, including:

o Accounting entries recorded in accounting software.

o Monthly financial reports.

o Monthly payroll and other related liabilities (Si, HI, UI, etc.)

o Tax calculations and declarations (VAT, PIT, CIT, FCT)

c. Communicate with clients on a daily basis, understand their business situations and provide appropriate advice.

d. Coordinate with clients auditors and tax officers when required.

e. Participate in spot engagements such as tax inspections, reviews, and M&A due diligence projects.

f. Provide coaching and instructions to juniors as necessary.

g. Other tasks assigned by Managers.
