Senior AI Developer
Coder Trove is looking for a Senior AI Engineer who enjoys building real AI systems not just experimenting with models, but turning them into reliable products.
In this role, you'll work closely with our development and product teams to design and build practical AI solutions using modern LLM technologies. You'll help us develop and refine the AI capabilities of our platform - revolutionise lending process with AI-powered insights, automated decision-making, and intelligent risk assessment.
We're looking for someone who is comfortable building production systems, thinking through technical approaches, and collaborating with the team to find the best way to solve problems with AI.
What You'll Work On
This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll have a lot of influence over how the system evolves.
- Building LLM-powered services that automate financial and operational workflows
- Developing agent-style systems that can reason, use tools, and complete tasks
- Designing RAG pipelines to connect AI with business data
- Integrating AI features into backend APIs and existing systems
- Improving system reliability, performance, and cost efficiency across model providers
- Collaborating with product and customers to figure out the best AI-driven solutions
Requirements
- 5+ years of software or AI engineering experience
- Strong Python development skills
- Experience building applications using LLMs or generative AI
- Familiarity with concepts like RAG, embeddings, or vector search
- Experience building APIs or backend services (FastAPI, Django, etc.)
- Comfort working in a collaborative environment and discussing technical approaches with teammates or customers
Nice to Have
- Experience with AI agent frameworks or orchestration tools
- Familiarity with vector databases or AI observability tools
- Experience deploying services using Docker or cloud platforms
- Frontend experience (React / Next.js / TypeScript)
- FinTech or financial systems experience
