Design and implement production-ready AI-powered backend services integrated into our existing systems.
Build and maintain LLM-based features, including agentic workflows, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), and semantic search.
Collaborate closely with backend engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Take ownership of architecture decisions, performance, reliability and security of AI systems.
Continuously evaluate and improve AI system quality through metrics, benchmarks and structured testing.
Stay up to date with developments in the GenAI ecosystem and help shape internal best practices.
Requirements
Hands-on experience with agentic AI architectures, including AI agents, MCP servers, toolcalling, multi-agent workflows and prompt orchestration (e.g. Spring AI, LangGraph, Google ADK, or similar frameworks).
Strong knowledge of retrieval pipelines, embeddings, RAG techniques and large-scale semantic search.
Experience designing LLM-driven systems with strong focus on data governance, privacy, and security.
Ability to work across backend services, ML pipelines, LLM orchestration frameworks, and frontend integration layers.
Experience defining evaluation metrics, KPIs, or benchmarks for LLM- or agent-based systems.
Solid backend engineering background with experience building and operating production systems.
Pragmatic, product-oriented mindset with a focus on shipping reliable solutions, not just experimentation.
Experience integrating AI/ML solutions into Java-based backend systems is a plus.
Fluent in English communication.
