Senior Android Developer

Location: Nam Tu Liem, Hanoi (On-site)

On behalf of our client, we are hiring a Senior Android Developer to support their global market intelligence platform. Our client provides a sophisticated platform that bridges the information gap in high-growth emerging markets, enabling multinational enterprises to make data-driven expansion decisions.

As a Senior Android Developer, you will be a key player in engineering high-performance mobile solutions used by a vast network of data contributors worldwide. Your mission is to build robust, offline-capable applications that ensure seamless data flow from diverse global locations to the core analytics engine.

• Collaborate with international cross-functional teams to architect and maintain resilient mobile applications.

• Develop new features while optimizing existing codebases to ensure high responsiveness and quality.

• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code following modern Android standards.

• Participate in deep-dive code reviews and contribute to the evolution of internal development frameworks.

Job Requirements

Technical skills:

• Strong foundation in Computer Science or Software Engineering from top-tier universities.

• Minimum 4 years of specialized experience in Android development.

• Expert in Kotlin, with a mandatory strong foundation in Java
  

• Hands-on experience with MVVM, Room, WorkManager, and Jetpack components.

• Knowledge of relational databases, such as MySQL or PostgreSQL, and experience with local storage solutions like SQLite or Room.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with Swift.

Soft skills:

• Professional proficiency in English for direct collaboration with US-based stakeholders.

• Sharp analytical skills with a high degree of attention to detail.

• Ability to own tasks end-to-end and work effectively in a remote-sync environment.
