Job DescriptionJob ID: MJ000171
About The Team
As a Market/Account Executive, you are fully competent, independently growing a meaningful portfolio of hotels in your country and reclaiming share destination by destination — as an individual contributor, owning the result yourself rather than through a team.
Job Responsibilities
- Own commercial performance for a portfolio of properties — room nights, revenue, competitiveness — and deliver against quarterly targets without close supervision.
- Build genuine partnerships with hotel owners and revenue managers, negotiating rates, exclusive deals and committed availability that beat competing OTAs.
- Diagnose why a property underperforms — price, content, ranking, availability — and run the fix from end to end.
- Prioritise the highest-value destinations and properties in your patch and concentrate your effort where it moves the number.
- Lead acquisition of strategic hotels that fill supply gaps in your market.
- Use the cross-sell bridge — turning flight demand into accommodation bookings — to grow your destinations.
- Surface market-level insights and pricing trends that shape the wider country plan.
Successful Candidate
- You have at least 3 years in hotel commercial/hospitality, OTA market management or travel-supply roles, challenging & meaningful sales role with a clear quota record.
- You independently run a portfolio of hotel accounts and own the commercial outcome, not just the activity.
- You negotiate confidently with hotel decision-makers and consistently land deals that improve competitiveness.
- You analyse a market end to end — demand, supply, price, conversion — and form your own point of view on where to push.
- You understand OTA dynamics deeply: parity, ranking, visibility, cancellation behaviour and what actually drives conversion.
- You manage your own time and pipeline against clear targets and rarely need to be steered.
- You are fluent with analytics tools and use AI to accelerate analysis, market research and partner communication.
- You communicate and influence clearly with both partners and internal teams.
- You hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent, with a track record of commercial delivery.
- You are fluent in English and the local language of your market.
- You have grown a destination or segment from a standing start and can show the before-and-after.
