Job Summary

As a Senior AI Product Owner at GHN, you will have a chance to become a visionary leader, who is responsible for driving the end-to-end lifecycle of our critical AI-powered products and features. You will define the AI product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring tight alignment with GHN's overarching business goals and market demands. This role demands a blend of deep technical understanding in AI/ML, strong business acumen, exceptional communication, and clear leadership to deliver impactful and ethical AI solutions that enhance customer experience and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic AI Product Ownership:

• Define and articulate a compelling AI product roadmap that aligns with GHN's AI vision & strategy, market leadership ambitions and value creation for customers.
• Lead and drive strategic planning for large-scale or multi-stage data science/analytics programs, potentially impacting the entire organization.
• Critically evaluate and analyze complex business information from multiple perspectives to make strategic and impactful decisions for AI initiatives.
• Manage alignment across leadership, stakeholder teams (e.g., engineering, customers/sales, operations, human resources, finance), ensuring everyone is working toward the same customer-centric goals.

Problem Identification & Solution Design:

• Identify and define high-impact business problems that are amenable to data-driven and AI-based solutions, linking them directly to business outcomes like cost savings or revenue generation.
• Design and supervise the design of Data Science/Analytics solutions for large or complex projects.
• Lead the identification of key internal and external data sources, assessing data availability and accessibility for large-scale projects.
• Oversee data management practices, including quality assessment, cleaning, and pre-processing, to ensure high-quality data for model training.

Communication & Stakeholder Management:

• Communicate fluently and present complex AI concepts and product insights to diverse audiences, including technical teams, non-technical stakeholders, and senior leadership.
• Lead the team in developing actionable insights and decision-making support from complex data science/analytics outputs.
• Tailor communication to the audience's needs, gaining business validation for large or complex projects through strong influencing skills.
• Foster an open culture of collaboration and psychological safety, encouraging diverse viewpoints and knowledge sharing across cross-functional teams.
• Manage effective preparation and quality of executive reports that provide data-driven insights into strategic issues.

AI Model Development & Deployment Oversight:

• Collaborate with our Data Science team to form a guidance on the selection of optimal AI/ML techniques (e.g., classification, clustering, anomaly detection, forecasting, recommendations, optimization, GenAI) based on data characteristics and business needs.
• Follow and ensure the progress of robust model development, validation, and deployment processes, including continuous monitoring and maintenance of predictive performance.
• Oversee the integration of AI/ML models into the broader product infrastructure and user experience.

Ethical AI & Risk Management:

• Champion the development and deployment of ethical and responsible AI systems, actively identifying and mitigating biases in datasets and model performance.
• Ensure explainability and transparency of AI model decisions, particularly for high-risk use cases, and clearly communicate limitations to users and stakeholders.
• Manage and mitigate risks associated with AI systems, understanding the implications of new technologies and industry changes, including compliance with relevant legislation and codes of practice.

Qualifications:

Experience:

• 3+ years of progressive experience in AI Product Management, Data Scientist, or Data Analyst roles, with a proven track record of discovering high-impact problems and delivering innovative AI-powered products within complex, cross-functional organizational structures involving multiple business stakeholders
• Experience working with AI applications such as Forecasting Models, Recommender Systems, Customer Segmentation, Chatbots/Virtual Assistants, Search Engines, and Fraud Detection.
• Proven ability to drive product innovation and operational efficiencies through AI, delivering impactful solutions for complex organizations.

Skills:

• Expert knowledge of AI/ML concepts, including various model types (e.g., supervised, unsupervised, deep learning, NLP, computer vision, generative AI) and their practical applications.
• Strong communication skills (verbal, written, visual), with the ability to effectively convey complex technical information and product value to all levels of an organization.
• Strong business acumen, with the ability to define product vision, conduct market research, and align AI solutions with financial impact and market performance.
• Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile sprints) and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
• Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities, with a capacity to navigate complexity and uncertainty.
• Understanding of Big Data concepts, architectures, and methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis, data manipulation, and feature engineering, with experience in tools like SQL, Python, Power BI, and Tableau is a plus.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or a related technical field.
• Master's degree in Applied Economics, Computer Science, AI is highly preferred.
