Between 2014 and 2019, the RAKSUL Group invested more than 5 billion yen in TV commercials over five years and increased its sales twentyfold. Novasel has productized the marketing know-how gained in that process and has developed services such as Novasel Analytics, which instantly visualizes the advertising effectiveness of TV commercials; Novasel Trend, which allows you to view the TV commercial effects of approximately 5,000 brands for free; and Novasel Professional, in which professionals evaluate and improve marketing operations.
Responsibilities:
In recent years Novasel has been focusing on developing solutions that utilize generative AI and machine learning. From automating the creation of advertising creatives to building effect prediction models and chatbots, we are driving the DX of marketing operations with cutting-edge technology. We are looking for an AI Engineer who will work with the business front side to promote AI-driven problem solving so that client issues can be solved through AI.
Specific duties to achieve this:
- Design, development and operation of AI products using the OpenAI API, Anthropic Claude API, etc.
- Development of effect prediction models utilizing advertising operation data (impressions, clicks, conversions, etc.).
- Construction of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems (document search using vector databases).
- Development and improvement of recommendation engines and chatbots for clients.
- Prompt design, tuning and pipeline optimization.
- Research of new technologies, PoC implementation and internal knowledge sharing.

- Product mission:Increase customer understanding, identify data that contributes to advertising performance, and provide it to AI as input. While maintaining a rapid development cycle, balance enterprise-level accuracy and reliability. Use technology to deliver an experience in which customers are completely freed from tedious work.
Your skill and experience:
Must have:
- Practical experience developing using AI APIs.
- Experience designing products and infrastructure as a full stack.
- Practical experience developing back-end systems using languages such as Ruby, Java, or Python, or front-end technologies.
- Practical experience in prompt design and tuning.
Nice to have:
- Strong communication skills to work with the team to solve problems.
- Ability to understand the assigned epic and decompose it into appropriate tasks.
- Ability to manage the quality and schedule of the assigned epic.
