We are looking for a Senior AI Engineer to help design and build the next generation of AI products in healthcare.

Position

Senior AI Engineer

Employment Type: Full-time/ Part-time / Consulting

Location: Remote /Vietnam preferred

Key Responsibilities

AI Product Development

• Design and develop AI-powered applications using Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Build and optimize Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems
• Integrate AI capabilities into learning, search and knowledge products
• Evaluate and adopt emerging AI technologies

AI Infrastructure & Architecture

• Design scalable AI workflows and pipelines
• Work with embeddings, vector databases and search technologies
• Integrate external AI services and foundation models
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deploy production-ready solutions

AI Quality & Performance

• Improve response quality, reliability and traceability
• Develop evaluation frameworks and performance metrics
• Monitor and optimize AI systems in production

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Product, Medical and Engineering teams
• Translate business requirements into practical AI solutions
• Contribute to technical roadmap and architecture decisions

Requirements

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with AI, Machine Learning or Generative AI
• Strong proficiency in Python
• Experience building and deploying production-grade applications
• Solid understanding of:

o LLMs

o RAG architectures

o Prompt Engineering

o Embeddings

o Search and Retrieval Systems

Preferred Experience

Hands-on experience with LLMs, RAG architectures, AI orchestration frameworks, vector databases, and search technologies. Familiarity with OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, LangChain, LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Qdrant, Pinecone, Weaviate, Elasticsearch, and PostgreSQL is preferred.

Nice to Have

Previous experience in Healthcare AI, HealthTech, scientific literature search, knowledge management, evidence-based medicine, or clinical decision support solutions.
