Senior Accounting - At Least 5 YOE

DESCRIPTION

1. General Accounting

- Develop and implement an automated system to ensure all accounting transactions of the company are recorded properly according to Vietnamese Accounting Standards.

- Ensure the general ledger, fixed asset register, accounts receivable, accounts payable, etc. are accurately and fully recorded and supported by documentation through the system.

- Prepare journal entries and synthesize common ledger for subsidiary accounts.

- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.

- Making general entries to close accounting books.

- Carry out periodic tax and financial reports: VAT, CIT, PIT...

- Make reports on statistics, appropriations, and budgets

- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.

- Assist manager in preparing financial statements, and reports for consolidation and audit purposes.

- Other tasks assigned by the manager.

2. Cost Accounting

- Construct system to collect, monitor cost information and maintain a cost database.

- Determine and record fixed costs, variable costs.

- Prepare (monthly, quarterly and annual) cost calculations (by standard costing method).

- Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies.

- Analyze and report cost variances to identify and recommend cost-effective improvements.

- Perform month-end and year-end closing.

- Reconcile inventories records with general accounts.

3. AP/AR Accounting

- Maintain accurate financial records of payables / receivables transactions.

- Closely monitor receivables against due dates and report on potential overdue on a timely basis

- Maintain accounts receivable files and records in the trading and financial systems.

- Reconciles processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.

- Prepares analyses of accounts and producing monthly reports

- Proactively engage with the stakeholders to implement improvements to the payment and receivables processes.

REQUIRES

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting – Auditing or related field.

- Work experience required: Minimum 5 years of work experience in relevant position, preferably with experience in Cost Accounting

- Ability to work independently, under high pressure.

- Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills

-Priority given to candidates with a chief accountant degree
