Core Responsibilities
Client Service & Technical Delivery
- Support Managers in delivering accounting services to both domestic and international corporate clients, including the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, tax filings, and other statutory reports.
- Assist Managers in providing tax compliance, tax review, and tax advisory services. Prepare and review client deliverables, including tax returns (Corporate Income Tax, Personal Income Tax, Value Added Tax, etc.), tax advisory reports, technical research, and supporting documentation.
- Contribute to corporate advisory projects, special review engagements, and other assignments as directed by the Head of Department.
- Respond promptly to client inquiries and provide practical, commercially sound tax solutions in compliance with Vietnamese regulations.
- Liaise with tax authorities or support Managers during tax audits, inspections, and investigations when required.
Team Leadership & Development
- Plan and allocate work effectively within the team, monitor progress, and ensure high-quality deliverables are completed on time.
- Coach, mentor, and provide day-to-day guidance to junior team members, supporting their technical and professional development.
- Participate in internal technical discussions, knowledge-sharing sessions, and training initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues across departments, including Audit and Outsourcing, to ensure seamless client service.
Process Improvement & Innovation
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve service delivery, internal processes, and operational efficiency to enhance both client experience and team productivity.
- Support the development of technical materials, training content, and thought leadership articles.
- Contribute to the development of new service offerings and continuous improvement initiatives.
Client Relationship & Business Development
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients by delivering high-quality service and trusted professional advice.
- Support business development initiatives and contribute to expanding service offerings and client relationships as assigned.
Candidate Profile
Professional Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, Economics, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of three years of relevant experience in tax, accounting, or audit, preferably within a professional services or consulting firm.
Skills & Attributes
- Strong written and spoken English, with the ability to communicate effectively with international clients and work confidently with technical documentation.
- Solid technical knowledge, analytical thinking, and a proactive, client-focused mindset.
