The role
Our agile CFO function spanning Finance & Accounting, Commercial, and Digital & IT plays a central role in scaling COP from a successful start-up into a significantly larger global organisation. Today, our finance team operates primarily from Denmark, Vietnam, and Greece.
As part of our Finance & Accounting hub in Hanoi, we are seeking a high-performing Senior Accountant to strengthen our team and ensure excellence across core accounting and financial operations.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Managing accounts payable processes
- Handling bank and intercompany transactions
- Preparing and maintaining cash flow forecasts
- Payroll booking and reconciliation
- Managing accruals and month-end closing activities
- Ensuring tax compliance and reporting to local authorities
- Managing transfer pricing booking and reconciliation
- Supporting statutory year-end audit processes
- Acting as Global Master Data Administrator for accounting systems
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within Finance
- Supporting ad hoc finance and accounting projects
This role requires precision, ownership, and a proactive approach to strengthening financial controls and processes in a dynamic, international environment.
Your Profile
We are looking for a driven, detail-oriented finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced and evolving organisation. You bring:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, Economics, or a related field
- 912 years of experience in corporate finance and accounting within a multinational corporation or consultancy environment
- Strong knowledge of local accounting standards, banking regulations, and tax requirements
- Solid experience with statutory audits and compliance processes
- Advanced Excel skills
- Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Vietnamese
- A collaborative mindset, strong work ethic, and a proactive, solution-oriented attitude
