Monitor security alerts and analyze log data using SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, Sentinel, ELK).
Identify potential threats, investigate incidents, and execute containment or remediation actions.
Manage and maintain security solutions such as Firewalls, IDS/IPS, WAF, EDR/XDR, DLP, and IAM/MFA.
Perform vulnerability scanning, coordinate patching activities, and maintain system security baselines.
Support compliance initiatives (ISO 27001, SOC2), assist with audits, and update security policies.
Collaborate with IT Operations, DevOps, and Infrastructure teams to strengthen the security posture.
Maintain accurate documentation for incidents, procedures, and configurations.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or related field.
1–3 years of experience in SecOps, SOC, or IT Security roles.
Solid knowledge of networking, Windows/Linux systems, and common security concepts.
Hands-on experience with SIEM, EDR, or vulnerability management tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
1 candidate with experience in network devices (Cisco, Juniper), firewalls (Palo Alto, Checkpoint), and Wi-Fi systems (Cisco, Aruba).
1 candidate with experience and passion for working with AI, automation, Linux, open source, back-end databases (AD, PostgreSQL), data analysis, and the ability to research and apply new solutions as needed.
Preferred
Experience with cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
Scripting skills (Python, PowerShell, Bash).
Certifications such as Security+, CEH, CySA+, SC-200.
