Role Overview:
This is a delivery leadership role. You own the execution quality and velocity of SEO and GEO. You are the operational layer between the SEO/GEO Manager and the delivery team. That means you run client sprints, own QA, track internal KPIs and keep work moving while developing genuine craft in both traditional SEO and AI search optimisation (GEO). GEO is not optional here. It is central to our service offering and competitive positioning. You will be expected to understand, implement and eventually develop GEO strategy - not just execute it on brief
Main Responsibilities:
Client Delivery & Project Coordination:
- Lead weekly delivery sprints across a portfolio of HOP and Artemis clients.
- Ensure all SEO/GEO deliverables meet quality standards before submission to clients or managers.
- Coordinate with content writers, strategists and account managers to achieve sprint goals
- Manage task boards, timelines, team capacity, and proactively flag blockers.
- Track delivery velocity and task completion against sprint KPIs.
- Maintain and update SOPs, frameworks, templates, and internal documentation.
SEO Execution:
- Conduct technical SEO audits, on-page optimisation, and content gap analysis.
- Perform keyword research across multiple markets and languages
- Implement and QA schema markup (JSON-LD), internal linking and content briefs.
- Monitor organic performance using GA4, GSC, and Agency Analytics, delivering insight-driven reports.
- Diagnose ranking fluctuations, traffic anomalies, and keyword cannibalisation issues
GEO (Generative Engine Optimisation:
Identify and close gaps between AI-cited content and existing client pages
- Track AI visibility across platforms such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity
- Implement GEO best practices including E-E-A-T signals, structured data, entity disambiguation and AI-readable content formatting
- Build understanding of how LLMs retrieve, interpret, and rank information
Skills Required:
Must-Have
- From 3+ years of SEO experience with proven performance outcomes, not just task execution
- Hands-on experience with GA4, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, or similar SEO tools
- Working knowledge of schema markup (JSON-LD) and its impact on search visibility
- Strong written English skills, with the ability to produce professional briefs, reports, and documentation.
- Strong project management and communication skills with the ability to manage deadlines, track progress and proactively flag issues
- Genuine interest in AI search and an understanding of how LLMs retrieve and surface web content
Nice to Have
- Experience in hospitality, tourism or travel industries, with understanding of seasonality, user intent, and booking funnels
- Exposure to B2B SEO, including longer buying journeys and decision-maker-focused content strategies
- Familiarity with GEO concepts such as citation signals, AI overviews, entity authority, and knowledge graph optimisation
- Experience using project management tools and working within sprint-based workflows
