Our core publications comprise Blissful Brides (blissfulbrides.sg), Hospitality Resource Directory (HRD) and clubpets (clubpets.com.sg). We are the organiser of the Blissful Outdoor Wedding Show, A.K.A. BOWS (bows.sg), a three-day event held thrice yearly in the months of January, May and October
Role Overview
You'll own organic growth for our Singapore websites. The role blends technical SEO, on-page/content strategy, and reporting. Sustainable non-brand traffic growth, stronger rankings, and measurable conversions (RSVPs, leads, ticket sales).
Key Responsibilities
* Strategy & Planning: Develop and execute SEO roadmaps for SG sites (quarterly/monthly), aligned to business goals and seasonality (SG events/holidays).
* Keyword Research: Ongoing discovery, clustering, and mapping to pages; build content briefs that guide writers/designers.
* On-Page Optimisation: Optimise titles, meta descriptions, headers, internal links, image alt text; ensure content matches en-SG search intent and spelling conventions.
* Technical SEO: Run audits and implement/follow up on fixes (CWV, site speed, crawl/indexation, canonicals, sitemaps, robots, redirects, structured data/schema, hreflang for en-SG and other locales if applicable).
* Content SEO: Plan and maintain an SEO content calendar (blogs, landing pages, event pages); review drafts for keyword coverage, E-E-A-T and readability; light editing in English when needed.
* Local/Entity SEO: Manage and optimise Singapore local signals where relevant (e.g., Google Business Profile, NAP consistency, event markup).
* Link Acquisition: Run quality-first outreach, digital PR, and partnerships; monitor toxicity and maintain a clean link profile.
* Analytics & Reporting: Track KPIs with GA4 & Search Console; build Looker Studio dashboards; deliver monthly insights and clear next actions.
* Collaboration: Work closely with web developers (WordPress), designers, and marketing to ship SEO tasks; create clear tickets/specs for technical changes.
* Stay Current: Monitor algorithm updates and best practices; propose experiments and A/B tests.
Qualifications (Must-Have)
* 24+ years in SEO with proven results (please include 12 short case studies with metrics).
* Strong English: can write/edit SEO titles, meta, briefs, and feedback in polished English.
* Solid grasp of ranking factors, crawl/indexation, content quality, and SERP features.
* Hands-on with GA4, Google Search Console, Looker Studio, PageSpeed Insights/Lighthouse; familiar with Screaming Frog/Sitebulb.
* WordPress experience (editing, on-page SEO, basic theme/plugin familiarity).
* Comfortable creating clear implementation tickets and following through to completion.
Nice to Have
* Laravel/PHP ecosystem familiarity (Blade templates, routes/controllers, handling meta/canonicals, XML sitemaps, schema via JSON-LD, caching/CDN).
* Experience with Singapore market (keywords, intent, spelling, competitors) or other APAC markets.
* GTM (events), basic HTML/CSS, schema (JSON-LD), CWV optimisation.
* Familiarity with Cloudflare/CDN, redirects, and site migrations.
* Tools: Ahrefs/SEMrush/Moz, Screaming Frog, Rank Math/Yoast, Surfer/Clearscope (or similar).
