With operations across the US, Canada, the Philippines, and Vietnam, our mission is to empower healthcare staffing agencies by leveraging cutting-edge AI/ML technologies to place clinicians in the best job opportunities available.
We are currently expanding our team in Vietnam and seeking a talented and experienced Scrum Master to facilitate effective agile delivery across cross-functional teams distributed between the US and Vietnam.
Responsibilities
- Sprint Planning & Execution
+ Organize and lead sprint planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
+ Ensure backlog grooming is done effectively in collaboration with Product Owners.
+ Facilitate estimation sessions and guide the team in defining achievable sprint goals.
- Agile Process Management
+ Ensure that Agile/Scrum processes are being followed.
+ Track team velocity and sprint progress through metrics and dashboards.
+ Identify and remove impediments that block progress.
- Team Capacity & Risk Management
+ Monitor team capacity and allocate tasks effectively based on availability and skillsets.
+ Proactively identify delivery risks and communicate them to stakeholders with mitigation plans.
- Cross-Functional Communication
+ Serve as a communication bridge between Vietnam-based engineers and US-based stakeholders.
+ Facilitate English-speaking meetings to ensure alignment on priorities, blockers, and workload.
+ Provide regular updates on team progress, capacity, and risk to US leadership.
- Continuous Improvement
+ Foster a culture of continuous improvement through data-driven insights and team feedback.
+ Coach team members on Agile practices and encourage adoption of best practices.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.
Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, with a proven track record of running successful sprints.
Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal) to work with US-based team members.
Experience working with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proactive mindset.
Proficiency in tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar agile project management platforms.
Nice to have:
Experience in a startup or fast-paced tech environment.
Familiarity with healthcare, staffing, or AI/ML-related projects is a plus.
Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent agile certification.
