Schedule Manager / Planning Engineer (Vietnamese)
Position : Schedule Manager / Planning Engineer – Rail Design Project
Location : Vietnam - HCMC

Duties and responsibilities:
- Support the Project Director and Deputy Project Director in the planning, monitoring and control of the overall project programme.
- Develop, maintain and regularly update the integrated project schedule covering all engineering disciplines, deliverables, reviews, approvals and key interfaces.
- Coordinate schedule inputs from the Vietnam and France teams and ensure consistency between discipline programmes.
- Monitor actual progress against the approved baseline programme and identify delays, critical activities and potential impacts on project milestones.
- Maintain the baseline schedule, progress updates, look-ahead programmes and key schedule reports.
- Coordinate with discipline leaders to collect progress information, forecast completion dates and identify required recovery actions.
- Identify the critical path, near-critical activities and schedule constraints, and report potential impacts to the Project Director and Deputy Project Director.
- Analyse schedule slippage and support the preparation and implementation of mitigation and recovery measures.
- Coordinate programme interfaces between civil works, stations, depot, systems and other project activities.
- Monitor the timely preparation, review and submission of project deliverables and ensure alignment with contractual and project milestones.
- Prepare regular schedule reports, progress dashboards, S-curves and other planning information required for project management and Client reporting.
- Support project meetings and prepare schedule-related presentations, progress reports and action trackers.
- Ensure that schedule information is consistent with project risks, resources, deliverables and contractual obligations.

Key Requirements
- Strong experience in planning and scheduling for multidisciplinary rail, metro or major infrastructure projects.
- Good knowledge of project planning, progress monitoring, critical path analysis and schedule control.
- Experience in developing and maintaining integrated engineering and construction schedules.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify schedule risks, delays and mitigation measures.
- Experience with Primavera P6 and/or MS Project.
- Good knowledge of Excel and project reporting tools.
- Strong communication, coordination and reporting skills.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Previous experience on metro projects financed by international funding agencies is an advantage.
