JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking an experienced SAP consultant with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA Project Systems (PS) and Investment Planning processes. The consultant will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise CAPEX and investment management solutions integrated with finance, controlling, and asset accounting processes.

The role requires deep knowledge of:

• Investment Management (IM)
• Project System (PS)
• Budgeting & Availability Control
• Capital Project Lifecycle
• Settlement & Asset Capitalization
• S/4HANA project execution and analytics

Key Responsibilities

1. Investment Planning & CAPEX Management

• Configure and support:
• Investment Programs
• Investment Positions
• Appropriation Requests
• Budget distribution and releases
• Support annual and multi-year investment budgeting activities

2. SAP PS Project Structuring

• Configure:
• Project Profiles
• WBS Structures
• Networks
• Map investment programs to project structures
• Design project execution workflows for capital projects

3. Budgeting & Availability Control

• Configure:
• Budget Profiles
• Availability Control (AVC)
• Tolerance limits
• Budget supplements and returns
• Monitor budget utilization and prevent overspending

4. Cost Planning & Forecasting

• Handle:
• Primary cost planning
• Easy Cost Planning (ECP)
• Activity planning
• Forecasting and revisions
• Perform plan vs actual variance analysis

5. Settlement & Asset Capitalization

• Configure settlement rules:
• WBS AUC
• AUC Fixed Assets
• Support month-end and year-end settlement processes
• Ensure accounting compliance for capitalization

6. Integration Management

• Integrate SAP PS with:
• SAP Investment Management
• SAP Finance
• SAP Controlling
• SAP Materials Management
• Asset Accounting
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for end-to-end solution delivery

7. SAP S/4HANA & Analytics (Preferred)

• Work with:
• Fiori applications
• CDS Views
• Embedded Analytics
• Universal Journal concepts
• Support S/4HANA migration and simplification activities

8. Client Interaction & Delivery

• Conduct workshops and business process discussions
• Prepare:
• Functional specifications
• Configuration documents
• Test scripts
• Training materials
• Support UAT, cutover, hypercare, and production support

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, Finance, or related field
• SAP certification preferred in:
• SAP Project System
• SAP S/4HANA
• Investment Management

Experience

• 5+ years in SAP PS consulting
• Strong hands-on experience in Investment Planning / CAPEX projects
• Minimum 2 full lifecycle SAP implementations
• Experience in SAP ECC to S/4HANA migration preferred

Process improvement activities ( PIA):

· Understand business request & Support the PIA Lead to implement improvement activities ( Validate/finalize the scope /coordinate with technical team to complete unit testing and implementation Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business processes and requirements and translate them into functional specifications in support with Lead Consultant.

· Mentor Junior & Senior Functional consultants to develop competency required for project deliverables Responsible for the assigned Business Requirement (BR)

Communication:

· Communicates clearly, professionally, and concisely with teams, clients, and stakeholders.

· Possesses strong presentation skills.

· Able to communicate effectively in intercultural and multicultural environments.

Planning:

· Developing tactical plans to achieve business objectives.

· Managing project timelines in alignment with the roadmap to ensure all activities are completed within the specified timeframe.

Collaboration:

· Collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams (e.g., functional consultants, technical consultants, and business users).

· Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders (customers/vendors).

· Conflict resolution within project teams during implementations.
