About the Role:
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP MM Consultant with expertise in Warehouse Management (WM) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing, configuring, and supporting SAP MM and WM modules. This role requires strong functional knowledge, hands-on configuration skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver efficient supply chain and warehouse solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze business requirements for Materials Management (MM) and Warehouse Management (WM) processes.
- Configure, customize, and support SAP MM and WM modules to meet business needs.
- Manage procurement processes including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, invoice verification, and vendor management.
- Implement and optimize warehouse processes: inbound, outbound, inventory management, storage locations, picking, and put-away strategies.
- Perform integration of MM/WM with other SAP modules (SD, PP, FI/CO).
- Develop functional specifications for RICEFW objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows).
- Conduct unit testing, integration testing, and UAT support.
- Provide end-user training, documentation, and post-go-live support.
- Troubleshoot issues and work with SAP support teams on resolution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and system upgrades.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of SAP MM functional experience, with at least 2+ years in WM.
- Strong knowledge of MM submodules (Purchasing, Inventory Management, Vendor Evaluation, Invoice Verification).
- Hands-on experience in Warehouse Management: storage types, transfer orders, stock placement/removal, picking strategies.
- Understanding of integration points with SD, PP, and FI/CO.
- Experience with system upgrades, S/4HANA migration (advantageous).
- Ability to create and review functional specs and work with technical teams.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Experience in global template rollouts and multi-country implementations is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- SAP Public Cloud is an advantage
- Exposure to SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management).
- Knowledge of SAP Fiori apps and S/4HANA MM functionalities.
- Familiarity with MM-related master data (Material Master, Vendor Master, Info Records).
- Certification in SAP MM or WM is an added advantage.
