Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced SAP Integration Manager to lead and manage integration activities across SAP transformation and implementation projects. The role will be responsible for ensuring seamless integration between SAP and non-SAP systems, managing cross-functional dependencies, and driving end-to-end integration delivery from requirements definition through testing and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
1. Integration Strategy & Design
- Define and manage the overall integration approach for SAP projects.
- Analyze business and system requirements and define appropriate integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems.
- Identify integration points, interfaces, data flows, dependencies and integration risks across business processes.
- Ensure consistency between business process design, SAP solution design and integration requirements.
- Review and validate integration architecture and solution designs with relevant functional and technical teams.
- Establish integration standards, principles and governance throughout the project.
2. Integration Management
- Lead the end-to-end integration workstream across SAP and non-SAP applications.
- Coordinate integration requirements across SAP modules, external applications, legacy systems and third-party solutions.
- Manage interface specifications, data mapping, integration dependencies and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with SAP functional consultants, technical teams, vendors and client IT teams.
- Identify and resolve cross-system integration issues and dependencies.
- Ensure integration requirements are properly documented, tracked and delivered.
3. Integration Testing & Deployment
- Define and manage the overall integration testing strategy and approach.
- Coordinate System Integration Testing (SIT), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and end-to-end business process testing.
- Ensure integration scenarios, test cases, test data and expected results are properly defined.
- Manage integration defects, issues and dependencies across multiple teams.
- Coordinate cutover and deployment activities related to integration.
- Support post-go-live stabilization and issue resolution.
4. Project & Delivery Management
- Lead integration workstreams and manage project scope, schedule, resources, risks and dependencies.
- Develop integration workplans, milestones and deliverables.
- Monitor progress and proactively identify risks and issues affecting integration delivery.
- Coordinate activities across multiple project workstreams and external vendors.
- Ensure integration deliverables are completed according to agreed quality, scope and timeline.
- Escalate critical integration issues and provide recommendations to project leadership.
5. Client & Stakeholder Management
- Conduct client workshops and discussions to understand business and integration requirements.
- Communicate complex integration topics clearly to both business and technical stakeholders.
- Present integration approaches, dependencies, risks and recommendations to client management.
- Act as the key point of contact for integration-related topics across the project.
- Facilitate decision-making between business, functional, technical and external stakeholders.
6. Team Leadership
- Lead and coordinate integration consultants and project team members.
- Allocate activities and responsibilities across integration workstreams.
- Provide guidance and support to consultants on integration-related issues.
- Review integration deliverables and ensure adherence to project standards.
- Support knowledge sharing and development of integration capabilities within the team.
Requirement
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in SAP implementation, SAP integration at SAP consulting firms.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end SAP business processes and system integration.
- Experience integrating SAP with other SAP systems, non-SAP applications, legacy systems and third-party platforms.
- Experience managing integration requirements, interfaces, data flows and cross-system dependencies.
- Strong experience in integration testing, SIT/UAT and end-to-end process testing.
- Experience leading an integration workstream in SAP implementation or transformation projects.
- Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (in both Vietnamese & English) with the ability to work with both business and technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA transformation or implementation projects.
- Experience across multiple SAP functional areas such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, WM/EWM, etc.
- Understanding of SAP master data and transactional data integration.
- Experience working with global / multinational clients.
- Experience managing system integrators, technology vendors or external partners.
