The SAP GTS Architect is responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of our SAP GTS system. They will also develop strategies for effective use of the GTS system across SAP ECC, S/4 and BTP platforms. You will leverage your expertise in technical SAP tools such as configuration, ABAP, and Fiori, combined with functional knowledge in manufacturing and logistics. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the business, architects, developers, and business analysts to create seamless, user-centric experiences that align with global business objectives, ensuring the delivery of effective and comprehensive solutions. The ideal candidate is not only technically skilled in SAP GTS but also brings a strategic understanding of SAP GTS as a critical enabler for global trade and customs.

Our Team

We are a global team with end-to-end responsibility for Molex ERP systems that is focused on leveraging digital and technological solutions to drive innovation and efficiency across Molex's supply chain, operations, finance, and other core capabilities. We lead ERP initiatives, focusing on solution architecture, delivery, and execution of key global projects that modernize our core ERP solutions.

What You Will Do

  • Serve as the subject matter expert for Molex SAP Global Trade Services (GTS)
  • Assess and translate business requirements into GTS strategies and technical solutions, leading the design and architecture of SAP GTS applications, UX solutions, and enhancements
  • Lead and support cross-functional initiatives that rely on robust SAP GTS data with strong MDM practices, ensuring high data integrity across business processes
  • Lead the development and maintenance of custom SAP programs, including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms (RICEF), ensuring seamless integration with SAP ECC, S/4 and other components
  • Manage and optimize SAP GTS integration with external systems
  • Collaborate with internal and external teams to enforce standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines across SAP GTS development activities
  • Provide technical leadership across project workstreams, ensuring clear communication with teams, customers, and stakeholders
  • Document user stories, technical constraints, and requirements while advocating for continuous improvements in SAP GTS
  • Create test plans, proofs of concept, and feasibility analyses to mitigate project risks and ensure sustainable solutions
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, especially in relation to GTS.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a large enterprise environment.
  • Drive continuous improvement through proactive identification of system and data enhancement opportunities, and by staying current with evolving SAP product landscapes

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2–3 years of experience with SAP ERP, with a focus on SAP GTS, Material Management and Warehouse Management.
  • Experience working with cross-functional business and technical teams.
  • Basic understanding of business processes and critical business capabilities in a global manufacturing organization.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • A demonstrated passion for learning, curiosity about emerging technologies, and willingness to expand into adjacent SAP modules or technologies.
