1. Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer with strong experience in S/4HANA, workflow development, enhancements, and API integrations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in ABAP development and process knowledge across SAP module PDM/PLM.

2. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy robust ABAP programs in both procedure and object-oriented paradigms. Build and maintain custom workflows using SAP Business Workflow.

• Develop and implement user exits, BADIs, and enhancement spots to support business-specific processes. Integrate external systems via APIs, including setup and consumption of OData services, RFCs, and RESTful services.

• Conduct code reviews, performance tuning, and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices. Support unit testing, defect resolution, and collaborate with functional consultants for solution design and delivery.

• Provide technical documentation and knowledge transfer to team members or client stakeholders.

3. Required Skills and Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of SAP ABAP development experience. Strong understanding of ABAP Objects, ALV reporting, Adobe Forms, BAPIs, and IDOCs.

Hands-on experience with SAP Workflow development and troubleshooting. Proficiency in enhancement techniques: user-exits, customer-exits, implicit/explicit enhancements, and BADIs. Solid experience with OData services, REST APIs, and integration frameworks.

Prior involvement in SAP S/4HANA projects (greenfield, brownfield, or system conversion). Experience to SAP CDS Views and ABAP RAP model. Familiarity with SAP Fiori architecture and backend integration is a plus. Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.

4. Nice-to-Have

Experience with SAP BTP, CAP, or Fiori Elements. Knowledge of SAP Cloud Connector, destination configuration, and authentication mechanisms.
