We are seeking a results-driven and experienced Sales Team Lead to spearhead our Payroll Outsourcing Services division. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding our market share, identifying new revenue streams, and managing strategic client relationships. This role requires a dynamic leader who can not only drive sales but also handle the initial setup of new payroll clients and provide essential administrative advice. The Sales Team Lead will also manage and coordinate with the team on insurance and Personal Income Tax (PIT) registration and reporting, including handling insurance claims and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

Sales and Business Development

  • The Sales Team Lead will drive revenue growth by leading a high-performing sales team and identifying new business opportunities. This includes leading and motivating sales representatives to achieve and exceed targets, developing and implementing effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market presence, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities including new markets and services, and building strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.

Client Onboarding and Support

  • The successful candidate will oversee the initial setup and onboarding process for new payroll clients, ensuring a seamless transition. This includes providing expert advice to clients on administrative setup and best practices for payroll and HR-related matters, and acting as a trusted advisor to clients by understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.

Team Management and Coordination

  • The Sales Team Lead will conduct regular sales meetings, training sessions, and performance reviews to foster a high-performing sales team. This role involves analyzing sales data and market trends to provide accurate forecasts and strategic recommendations, coordinating with the team to manage insurance and PIT registration, reporting, and compliance, and overseeing the handling of insurance claims and benefits to ensure timely and accurate processing.

Operational Excellence

  • The candidate will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies, collaborate with internal departments such as operations and finance to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery, and prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.

Skills and Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field is required for this position.
  • Candidates must have proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably within the payroll outsourcing, HR services, or B2B professional services industry. A demonstrable track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets is essential, as is experience in managing and developing a successful sales team.
  • The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership, coaching, and team management skills, along with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities. In-depth knowledge of payroll processing, HR compliance, and B2B sales principles is required.
