Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Sales Staff role based in Kyoto, Japan. The Sales Staff will be responsible for actively identifying and pursuing sales opportunities, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and promoting the company's disaster prevention equipment.
Daily tasks include engaging with potential clients, preparing sales reports, providing product information, and collaborating with internal teams to meet customer needs.
The Sales Staff will also participate in sales meetings, negotiate contracts, and ensure customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven sales and business development skills, including the ability to identify and secure new clients, as well as maintain relationships with existing customers.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills to effectively convey product information and close deals.
- Knowledge of disaster prevention equipment or a capacity to quickly learn technical details about emergency power supply and fire extinguishing systems.
- Ability to prepare detailed sales reports, track performance metrics, and meet sales targets efficiently.
- Effective communication skills, native Japanese or N1 level of Japanese for foreigners.
- Team collaboration skills and a customer-focused mindset to ensure excellent client service and satisfaction.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- Experience in the manufacturing or safety equipment industry is an advantage.
