1.    Job Overview

·      Yokogawa Vietnam is looking for Senior Project Sales Engineers for the Material Segment to develop and manage industrial projects with strategic customers.

·      This role is responsible for the full sales cycle, including opportunity development, solution consulting, proposal preparation, commercial negotiation, contract closing, and project handover.

2.    Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales

·      Identify and develop new business opportunities, including Greenfield and Migration projects.

·      Build and manage project sales pipelines from lead qualification to deal closing.

·      Maintain accurate sales forecasts and updates in CRM systems.

Customer & Solution Consulting

·      Understand customer technical requirements and propose suitable automation solutions.

·      Prepare and deliver technical/commercial presentations, proposals, and product demonstrations.

·      Build strong relationships with End-Users, Consultants, and EPCs.

Tender & Proposal Management

·      Prepare technical and commercial proposals including scope, pricing, bill of materials, timeline, and deliverables.

·      Coordinate with engineering, proposal, operations, finance, and other internal teams.

·      Support RFQ/RFP responses and contract negotiations.

Project Coordination

·       Work closely with internal teams to ensure smooth project handover after contract award.

·       Follow up project progress, customer feedback, and identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities.

·       Monitor competitor activities and market trends.

• Employees will not enter into any arrangement or participate in any activity that would conflict with the interests of Yokogawa or its corporate regulations nor prejudice the performance of professional duties.

• Employees must actively promote compliance with laws, rules, regulations and the Yokogawa Compliance Guidelines and Yokogawa Australia Code of Ethics and Conduct.

3.    Requirements

·       Bachelor's Degree in Automation, Electrical, Control, Mechatronics Engineering, or related fields.

·       Experience in technical sales, project sales, automation solutions, or engineering projects.

·       Good knowledge of DCS, SCADA, PLC, and industrial automation systems.

·       Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

·       Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders.

·       Good English communication skills (spoken & written).

·       Japanese or Korean is an advantage.

·       Willing to travel and visit customers regularly.

Preferred Industry Knowledge

Experience or understanding in industries such as: Chemical, Pulp & Paper, Metal & Mining, EV, Data Center, Railway, Semiconductor, Electronics, Electrical, or Biomaterial
